Trail Overview
Cub Tank Trail starts at the beginning of Forest Service Road 80A and travels South. The first section of this trail, between the beginning of FS 80A and Dutch's Tank, is a pretty easy-going rocky dirt trail with potential for mud holes. As you pass the meadow around Dutch's Tank, the trail's surface becomes more rocky. The trail will start to go downhill towards Cat Tank. This part of the trail is very bumpy and rocky with a slight decline. Keep an eye out for bigger rocks on the surface of the trail in this area. There is a short stretch right before Cat Tank that is rutted, rocky, and narrow. Between Cat Tank and Cub Tank, the trail is the most rocky with several rocks having evidence of undercarriages hitting them. The trail takes you right next to Cub Tank, which marks the end of this trail.
