Trail Overview
The Little Horse Waterfall Trail started off looking so promising. The trail is one lane, with water and erosion damage, and works its way toward the mountains. Along this trail, you'll find cactus, and creosote, typical of this area of the desert. An abandoned mine shaft is fenced off for safety. There are a couple of wash crossings, but nothing too serious. The trail terminated at a 3-foot waterfall-type drop that my vehicle was unable to handle. However, the trail does continue if willing to travel past the 3-foot drop and looked to be an interesting way through this ruggedly beautiful area of Arizona.

Difficulty
The mapped section of the trail is a level 2. The trail continues past what is mapped, as this trail needs a larger tire/higher clearance vehicle. The section of the mapped trail terminates near a 3-foot waterfall-type feature. There is no service along this trail. If you attempt to travel past the waterfall it will be much more difficult than the previous portion of the trail.
