Trail Overview

Very rocky trail, and the wash has some great obstacles. I would recommend this as a summer night run or a daytime run in the fall or spring. The trail itself can be done in a 4x4 with some height. The trail itself is very rocky especially when there has been raining the rocks can be a bit much for a stock 4x4. The scenery is incredible as you can tell form the pictures.

Most of this trail is a 5, with a few stretches I would classify as a 6. Easy access to trailhead and some cool turnoffs once you get into it. Including a mud pit that is perfect a few days after a rain. If you want more of a challenge, grab the FDR 10 trail (7-8 difficulty) north thru Dome mountain. Also make sure you have your required permit otherwise you won't be able to access these trails.
