Trail Overview
This historic mining route offers a rugged trek through narrow, rocky terrain with frequent wash and ditch crossings. Expect erosion, small ledges, and off-camber sections that add to the challenge. The road winds through remote desert landscapes before ending at the remnants of the Blue Bell Mine, making it a scenic yet technical journey for those looking to explore Arizona's mining history. If you do decide to explore the mine, use caution, as open shafts and deep pits are not always fenced and marked. Along the way are sporadic campsites and places to pull off and enjoy the fantastic surrounding views of this mountain range.

Difficulty
This is an unmaintained trail that traverses small canyons, ridge lines, and shelf road situations. Erosion and rocks pepper the trail, but overall there are no major obstacles along this trail. There are campsites scattered along this trail, as well as side trails as this area is popular with hunters. There is little cell service in the area, so offline maps are recommended.
