Trail Overview
Trail FS9708A starts on a hidden entrance off Cherry Creek Road and looks almost unused. This point-to-point trail is narrow, off-camber, and rough from the start with Pinstripe overgrown vegetation, deep ruts, a major washout, and a rocky wash crossing before climbing into the Prescott National Forest. At the property line, you will reach a gate. Please leave it closed. Beyond the gate, this trail becomes a very tight shelf road with a mountain wall on one side and a ledge drop on the other. There are limited places to turn around, so use caution with oncoming traffic and washouts. This route may become impassable in bad weather.
