Quarried Hilltop # 2

Trail Overview

Quarried Hilltop # 2 is a very short but fun trail. The entire way is a hill climb with a few sharp switchbacks. As you climb, the trail's surface has small loose rocks accompanied by a few uneven sections. While climbing this trail, there is a fairly sharp switchback on a short, steep grade. After this switchback, the trail gains a little more elevation. The trail will continue to have small loose rocks until after the last small switchback, which brings you to the top of the hill. At the end of the trail, you will be sitting on top of a small hill that has been flattened out by some old mining operation. This area is a great place to get out and look around at the surrounding areas, and also a good place to camp or have lunch.
