Trail Overview
The north end of this trail starts in a wash at the edge of private property. It goes south in the wide, sandy, and gravelly wash lined with spiky bushes. It departs from the wash for one short section before reconnecting to the wash, but the exit from the wash is essentially invisible if you don't have a map. The trail continues in the wash for the rest of the route, fast and straight for long sections and with small snaking curves in other sections. It goes along tall dirt hills, towering saguaro cactus, and scenic rock walls. There are some rock layers in the wash, and jagged rock faces that you will ride over, but they are easy and not big ledges. Since this trail is partially on Arizona State Trust Land, it requires a recreation permit that you can obtain online.
