Trail Overview
The south end of this trail peels off from the climb on 31038. It starts off as a narrow singletrack, with not many tracks, and looks less trafficked. It goes through a couple of overgrown bushes that whack your face as you ride past. It dips into a wash and climbs up on a washed-out trail, then becomes wider for the remainder of the route. It follows a ridgeline up the rolling desert hills. The trail surface is super loose, made of loose dirt and small loose rocks, so it's harder to keep traction on the hill climbs. Overall, the trail stays pretty easy, with no big obstacles. Since this trail is partially on Arizona State Trust Land, it requires a recreation permit that you can obtain online.
