Trail Overview
Copperhead Bypass gives you access to the top of the mountain at Flat Access, but don't let the term "bypass" fool you; Copperhead Bypass is considered moderate in difficulty, though significantly easier than running Copperhead. This trail starts with loose gravel and dirt at the bottom of the hill starting on Taxi Cab. Towards the top of the hill, some small boulders are showing their head, which can be a problem for those with less ground clearance. Stay in the middle of the trail and hit all obstacles to avoid widening the trail, or find an alternate route for an easier trip to the top of the mountain. This trail has an abundance of Alabama red clay that can clog tire tread, making the top of the trail exit more difficult when wet.

Difficulty
Copperhead Bypass is a smooth transition bypass trail that gradually climbs the mountain. While the obstacles are under 24 inches, a good line can conquer this access trail with ease.
