Difficulty

Trail 305 is rated Level 5 due to its uneven, rutted dirt surface combined with loose rocks, sand, and erosion. Drivers will encounter numerous tight switchbacks, along with steep climbs and descents that increase the challenge. The trail may feature water crossings up to 18 inches deep, mud holes, and obstacles up to 2 feet tall, including ledges and short, steep grades. Depending on weather conditions, the trail can become very slick, especially in muddy or wet areas, further increasing the difficulty. The narrow width and one-way design mean there are limited opportunities to turn around or pass, requiring drivers to be well-prepared and experienced in technical maneuvering.
