Trail Overview
This route makes an excellent companion to the East Crossover for creating a full loop. While less treacherous than the East Crossover near its base, it does feature a steep drop into a small ravine. After exiting the ravine and turning right off the old race track, proceed with caution--there's a section of rain ruts resembling a deep earthquake crevice. Though tire tracks from a full-size truck were visible at the time of mapping, it's strongly recommended to have a spotter for this stretch. Once beyond the crevice, you'll face a steep descent into farmland, eventually leading to the road toward Ejido Erendira or San Vicente.

Difficulty
The deep ravine in the description demands a high-clearance 4WD vehicle and can become extremely challenging in wet conditions. While the deep crevices on the descent are spaced to allow tire contact, it's crucial to be ready for potential recovery. Air down your tires, and have a spotter to guide you through. A single misstep could turn into a long, difficult day.
