Trail Overview
This off-road route begins about half a mile into the trail toward El Marmol, starting as a well-defined and well-traveled road. Early on, you'll pass a large windmill, a small structure, and an arrangement of tires that resembles a former military checkpoint. After the first mile, the track fades and diverges into multiple directions, reflecting its history as an old race trail. These paths eventually rejoin, with the marked sections offering the smoothest ride. As you ascend, the terrain shifts to deep sand and arroyo crossings, which contribute to the trail's difficulty rating. When the trail intersects with another route, you have two options: turn left for a slightly easier path back, or turn right to continue exploring further into uncharted terrain.

Difficulty
This trail can be challenging to follow in places, especially near the beginning where the path isn't always clear. Toward the end, you'll encounter several arroyo crossings with deep sand, requiring low tire pressure and dry conditions for a safe passage. Some of these sandy stretches are quite lengthy and could pose a risk if not navigated carefully.
