Trail Overview

This gentle trail guides you to the historic Laguna Hanson Road and down to Mexico 3, serving as an excellent shortcut for those traveling from the San Felipe or Mike's Sky Ranch areas. This route allows you to reach Laguna Hanson without enduring the washboard section leading to Ojo Negro in the direction of Ensenada. Starting from Highway 3, the trail ascends steadily for the first 3.5 miles. Upon turning left, the terrain levels out, offering a picturesque journey through a scenic ranch adorned with dozens of horses, towering oak trees, and intriguing rock formations, before merging with the main Laguna Hanson Road.
