Trail Overview
Starting from the trailhead near a restaurant off Highway 1, this well-maintained road is accessible to nearly any vehicle and wide enough for two to pass comfortably. As you venture further into mid-Baja, you'll find yourself surrounded by towering Cordon cacti, resembling the iconic Saguaros, interspersed with whimsical Boojum trees that look as if they've leaped out of a Dr. Seuss book. This scenic route is also part of the renowned Baja Divide bike-packing trail, so keep an eye out for cyclists, and note that this trail connects with several other routes, offering even more exploration opportunities.
