Trail Overview
This off-road route, originally designed as a utility path rather than a scenic adventure, has become a rugged challenge due to years of neglect. Overgrown with dense thorns and cacti, it guarantees scratches and potential damage to any vehicle larger than a side-by-side. While the north-south stretch is navigable with something the size of a Jeep, the section leading from the freeway demands significant effort, including chainsaw work, to clear vegetation. Deep sand, sharp inclines, and overgrowth make 4WD essential for those daring enough to tackle the terrain. The unforgiving desert landscape even claimed the remains of several cows, a stark reminder of its harshness.

Difficulty
This trail requires 4WD primarily due to sections with soft sand up to 3-4 inches deep. Beyond that, the main challenge lies in the trail's narrowness, as dense desert vegetation encroaches on the path, making navigation tight and potentially hazardous for wider vehicles.
