Trail Overview
Leaving Highway 1, the route begins by passing through an open barbed-wire fence and follows a straight path for over six miles, leading almost to the coast. The trail features two to four inches of soft but firm sand, offering a smooth ride with a few gradual climbs and descents. Maintaining steady speed before uphill sections will ensure easier navigation. The road is wide enough to avoid any vehicle scratching, and airing down your tires is highly recommended for improved traction on sandy terrain. Near the coast, you'll take a right turn onto a winding road that leads to a spot known as Los Hombres Solo. Continuing beyond this point will take you to Las Tinajas at the trail's end, where you'll encounter several structures, marking the conclusion of this scenic and accessible route.
