Trail Overview
Embark on a picturesque offroad adventure through a diverse landscape that starts in the arid desert and meanders along a rugged riverbed, culminating in a breathtaking canyon before arriving at the charming town of Mulege. The trail primarily consists of unpaved, rocky terrain that presents some challenging sections that may require a 4x4 vehicle and additional clearance during inclement weather and erosion. To ensure a smoother and safer ride, it is recommended to decrease tire pressure early on and savor the journey while minimizing the risk of tire damage.
Difficulty
This trail is not difficult unless there is damage from recent weather. The crossing is long with many rocks so being prepared for recovery especially solo is very important. No gas along the route although there are several ranches and you will see an occasional vehicle. You could make this crossing an hour faster or slower than the time listed depending on stops and speed of driving.
