Trail Overview
This route offers a surprising, clean, and smooth drive along the scenic Ensenada Los Aripes, sheltered by the peninsula. Starting at Centenario Beach, the trail follows the bayfront past picturesque homes for about a mile before turning left to navigate around a gated marine biology complex. Adventurers can opt to continue straight off the trail to explore additional beach areas. After turning left, the route transitions briefly to a gravel section before a right turn leads to a straight mile with some minor washboard terrain due to local traffic. Beyond a fenced area, the trail returns to the water's edge, continuing northwest with alternating stretches of coastal and inland views before culminating at the entrance to the Mogote Sand Dunes--a stunning natural barrier that protects the bay.

Difficulty
This road is accessible to any 2WD vehicle; however, caution is advised. Numerous side roads and parking areas branch off the main route, often leading to enticing camping spots and beach access. These areas frequently contain deep sand, where vehicles--even those with 4WD--get stuck daily.
