Trail Overview
Twisted Rattler is a trail that runs parallel to Green Horn 2 and is currently the newest trail in the park. It is also primarily used as a bypass or bailout around the approximate halfway point of the Green Horn trail when conditions become overly rocky or challenging. The trail also serves as a convenient route back to a major trail network intersection for those coming off North Pole. Twisted Rattler is passable by both 2WD and 4WD vehicles and winds through multiple trees along its route. While occasional small rock ledges or minor rock stacks may be encountered, the majority of the trail consists of hard-packed dirt, making it a relatively manageable and efficient connector trail.
