Trail Overview
This is a dirt-based forest road in the Colville National Forest. The trail is relatively flat and gradually gains only around 300 feet of elevation along the entire trail. The trail is narrow and one lane wide, with two-lane sections. There are ledges with drop-offs, but there are places to pull over and let vehicles pass. You will encounter minor ruts and wash, but any vehicle should be able to traverse this trail with no issue. There are views of the surrounding ridges and peaks, as well as camping allowed along the entire trail. At the end of the trail, there is a large campsite that has been used by hunters and has a game hanging spot and a pre-existing fire ring. Cell service was decent, and there are no amenities along the trail. Kettle Falls, Washington, is approximately 15-18 miles away and is the nearest services and supplies.
