Trail Overview
This forest road starts on gravel and quickly turns to dirt. There are sections where the trail is a 2-track and narrow, but wide enough to pass other vehicles should you encounter any. There are areas of ruts and wash, and portions of this trail had standing water/puddles and were muddy. The trail briefly has a ledge with a drop-off, where you will have a great view of the road you drove to get to this trail, as well as of the surrounding peaks. At the end of this trail is a dispersed camping area that is large and flat. There are no amenities and no cell phone service, so travel with all needed gear and supplies.
