Access Description

From Highway 20, head west toward Tatla Lake. Once you reach the small community of Tatla Lake, turn south onto West Branch Road. Follow West Branch Road for approximately 24 km until you reach a junction--stay left to continue onto Chilko Lake Forest Service Road (FSR). Travel along the Chilko Lake FSR for roughly 40 km, keeping an eye out for the signed turnoff to Tsuniah Lake Recreation Site on your left. The entrance is marked but can be easy to miss, so having the OnX Offroad app tracking your route is highly recommended. The road from the turnoff down to the lake is a short, well-maintained FSR suitable for most high-clearance vehicles. This route takes you deep into BC's wilderness, so fuel up in Tatla Lake and ensure you're prepared before heading in.
