South of Trout Lake to Meadow Mountain Trail

Trail Overview

South of Trout Lake, just over the bridge, is a small recreation site. Then a little further along, the road goes straight to the lake. Continuing south on #31 take you to the Howser Recreation Site and the start of the Meadow Mountain trail. Go for a swim in the cold glacier-fed river (which was great after 2 nights of camping and exploring).
