One Stick At A Time

Trail Overview

One Stick At A Time is a great intermediate trail for folks wanting to work on turns and roots. Turns, turns, and roots galore is the name of the game for this one. It meanders through a clear-cut and weaves between trees. Through all the usage, roots stemming from the base of the trees are being exposed. One Stick At A Time is slow-paced due to all the quick turns and has a constant feel of small roots. Not necessarily root sections, just lots of individual pronounced roots. The back end of the loop does have one more challenging rock section that is uphill/crest/downhill. It takes a good line choice as there is some undercutting and ledges to some of the rocks, but with good lines, it can be easily navigated. Also, there are a couple of small fallen trees in this trail that have been cut up and trimmed down to help get over. A little momentum and you'll pop right over.
