Trail Overview
Jackpine FSR is a connector between Glenrosa Road and Bear Lake Main FSR. This two-lane off-road trail winds through the forest with the occasional cleared cut blocks. As you navigate the road, you'll encounter shallow potholes and sections of washboard. Keep your eyes peeled for breathtaking vista points along the way, where you can enjoy views overlooking West Kelowna--a perfect spot for a quick photo! During the spring, summer, and fall months, you may share the road with free-range cattle, adding a rural charm to your adventure. Be prepared for fellow off-road enthusiasts, as this trail is regularly traveled. Please note that cell reception can be inconsistent in certain areas, so it's advisable to bring a satellite communication device for peace of mind. You'll also see signs indicating that Jackpine FSR serves as an emergency exit route, although it's important to be aware that the road is rarely plowed during the winter months.
