Trail Overview

Really fun sand wash that has a few connectors that will get you back on to the main trail/ road. It has a few tight turns and high side that make it narrow in a few spots. The loop seems to have a section that seems to be newer. It stars off of Notam road and goes all the way around to sandy creek. It has a few technical sections I would rate as a three. Very cool trail with good views of Capitol Reef. To the west it reminded us of some scenes from Star Wars.

Most of the trail has good driver sight of the road. Has a few tech parts but nothing very difficult.

Not an easy trail. Overall I would rate this as medium, teetering towards hard due to a few obstacles. There are off camber climbs and descents that have been washed out at the bottom plus a deep sand section and two technical and difficult hills. Completed on a motorcycle but you would need descent ground clearance and maybe lockers to complete in a 4x4.
