Trail Overview

Scenic high desert drive with two overlooks of Carrizo Canyon. Corrizo Overlook, with picnic tables, makes great lunch spot. Take binoculars. Fun hiking trails. Overnight camping at Lark Canyon Recreation Site, fee area. Street-legal vehicles only on McCain Valley Road. Lark Canyon OHV Area is for vehicles less than 40 inches wide.

Access Description

Get off Interstate 8 at Highway 94, exit 65. Drive south 0.5 miles and turn left on Old Highway 80. Go east 1.8 miles and turn left on McCain Valley Road. Go north 2.4 miles to fork where pavement ends.
