FS 895

Trail Overview

This level two track is in great condition and consists mostly of smooth dirt with a few small rocky sections mixed in. The trail begins at A Cross Road and climbs gradually up to Thompson Mesa on mostly narrow, rocky shelf roads, offering great views as you wind your way uphill. There are a few switchbacks along the route, but the grades remain mild overall, making for a scenic and enjoyable drive to the top.

This trail earns its rating due to the mild grades, good overall condition, and minimal obstacles. Aside from a few small rocky patches and gentle switchbacks, it should be easy in dry conditions.
