Lower Stone Ridge Rock Pit

Trail Overview

Just off Lower Stone Ridge Road, there is an old rock pit that is no longer in use. Although the main entrance is barricaded, this is only to prevent access by heavy machinery. There are trails to the right that are commonly used by all manner of off road vehicle. The pit is comprised of 3 pits, and there is nearly zero difficulty even at the beginning around the larger barricades. There are lots of remnant material piles to play on, and open spaces to stop for a break.
