Trail Overview

This is a relatively easy scenic drive down Forest Route 6N04, also known as Leona Divide. It can be run in both directions, beginning at either the trailhead on Bouquet Canyon Road or San Francisquito Canyon Road. There are quite a few scenic overlooks, switchbacks and steep climbs and descents. This can be run in 2WD, but drivers can use 4H if it makes them comfortable.

We took a SxS up the trail, it was decently maintained and an easy ride to the Green Mountain Summit. Multiple switchbacks and hard mountain turns a few patches of mud I took gum advantage of. Took me about an hour for the full trail ride.

Definitely NOT recommended in the rain. Most of the trail was fine but we came to one section (just after the turnoff headed south) which had a steep slope. As we started to descend we slid straight down into the ruts. It took over an hour of digging in the torrential rain before we managed to get out!
