Trail Overview

Rock Creek is an almost two-mile-long narrow single-track trail that begins off of Big Munger Trail near the staging area. The route traverses sagebrush-covered hillsides and winds through scenic meadows and forested sections. The trail is mostly smooth with gradual grades and easy turns through trees, making it a relaxed and approachable ride. A few wooden bridges cross over small creeks, though watch out for one of the bridges that is in poor condition. The terrain includes occasional rocky patches and mild side-hilling, but nothing sustained or technically demanding. While there are a few slightly steeper sections, the trail remains predominantly gentle and easy to follow throughout.
