Trail Overview
This is one of a few options for a more adventurous route between Wyoming and Colorado. Boulder Ridge Road has two parts; the half located in Wyoming is a well-maintained county road, and the half in Colorado is a typical light-duty forest road. A few small rocks can easily be avoided or cleared. The biggest challenge is the occasional puddle. A few mild sections are steep for a moment, but very short-lived. Additionally, there are a few small semi-sandy sections that you will come across. There is a few places where cell signal may exist, there are also a couple of 911 call boxes along the road in the Colorado half.
