Trail Overview
Located in the Killsnake State Wildlife Area, Lemke Road is a popular destination for hunting, fishing, and birdwatching enthusiasts. The trail is generally easy to navigate; however, it is prone to flooding during the spring months or after several days of heavy rain. Depending on current conditions, large portions of the road may be underwater. Due to the wide variety of species found in the area, the trail often attracts many visitors for wildlife viewing or hunting. This is especially true during deer hunting season in November, when parking areas can become very crowded. Please note that there are no restrooms or camping allowed in the area.
