Trail Overview

This is a Seasonal road that is only accessible from 9/1-12/31. The eastern half of this road is relatively well-maintained and offers wide open views, with visible signs of past clear-cutting. Early on, you'll enjoy a scenic view of wetlands adorned with tall, golden grasses and pine trees in the background. The trail transitions from gravel to a sandy two-track, gradually narrowing as the dense trees close in around the road. Along the way, you'll encounter a remarkable, massive rock formation spanning nearly two acres--an excellent spot to explore and relax. Its flat, open summit features only a few patches of mature trees, providing a peaceful panoramic viewpoint. As you proceed, the trail becomes increasingly narrow. Expect some easy muddy sections and hilly terrain. With this part of the trail seeing less traffic, you may get some scratches and pinstriping from the dense foliage. Once you complete the route, it's recommended to head back east. If you choose to go west on FR 2325, you'll reach an impassable creek.

Difficulty

Even during a drought, the mud can still be slick about halfway around the trail. The unique rock formation accessible only from this road offers excellent rock crawling opportunities, but use caution when driving with a stock rig.
