Trail Overview

This is a short two-track trail that winds through a scenic mix of conifers and hardwoods. The terrain varies between gravel, mud, and occasional washouts--one of which is deep enough to bottom out if approached carelessly. A few muddy, less-maintained spurs branch off the main fire road, leading to spacious, dispersed campsites perfect for those looking for solitude and room to spread out. The area also boasts two beautiful lakes nearby, offering a peaceful backdrop and great spots to relax or explore.

Difficulty

The only spot that might give a stock vehicle trouble is a gravel washout that you'll want to approach with caution. The surrounding spur roads can become muddy and difficult to navigate, particularly during or after wet weather.
