Trail Overview
This trail is the eastern portion of Forest Road 2183. This trail is wide with mostly long flowing corners. Elevation changes are subtle, noticeable, and enjoyable with a few larger elevation changes mixed in as well. This trail remains wide with exceptional sight lines throughout. The trail surface consists of hard-pack gravel. This can become extremely dusty if there has been a lack of rain. The trail is open to ATVs, SxSs, and all road-going vehicles. The trail consists of primarily highland forests with a good mix of tree types. This trail, like all of the other trails in this area, is exceptional to ride in the spring, summer, and fall, but has something special to offer when ridden in the fall as the leaves are changing. Starting or ending off Highway 55, this trail also serves as a good access point or egress point for the Seven Hour Plane Crash Trail, or any of the other trails or trail systems in this area.
