PC 52 is a narrow, shelf-like route that climbs steadily along the mountainside, featuring a rutted ascent when riding east to west, with loose rock throughout. The first quarter mile is the steepest as it climbs up from trail PC 55. The trail winds around the slope, passing the intersection with PC 81. Riders can expect small boulders and embedded rock in the path, adding a moderate technical challenge.
