Trail Overview
This route is a decently maintained forest service road that runs through Monongahela National Forest. At least a dozen or more dispersed campaigning sites are along the route. You will also find a Paddy Knob fire lookout tire. Even with a cell booster, cell service is virtually nonexistent along the entire trail. There are a couple of spots along the route where you can get good views of the surrounding mountains. I recommend you bring a chainsaw or a handsaw/axe at minimum. This trail does not see a lot of traffic; we ran into at least a dozen or more spots with trees/limbs that needed to be cleared off the trail.
