Trail Overview

This is a great day trip or weekend getaway as there are multiple camp spots along this trail and even a small waterfall at the bridge crossing. The main trail is all gravel with some moderate elevation gain, but accessible by all vehicles; there are a few side trails that require high clearance vehicles, but those lead to dead ends due to lack of maintenance. Expect exceptional mountain views and wildlife roaming in the woods. The trail concludes at the Walt Bailey trailhead.

Difficulty

Side trails may be muddy in spring and early summer with exposed tree roots causing heavy articulation. Overhanding tree branches may cause pinstriping to vehicle roof or rooftop tents.
