Trail Overview
Forest Road 30 starts/ends at the Lone Butte Sno-Park and is a connecting road to FR 24, which has several campgrounds and hiking trails. The section before reaching FR 24 is paved. The dirt road itself is nice and wide although a bit rough - bumpy, washboarded, with some big potholes to navigate. Safe and capable for 2WD vehicles. No cellular service. Posted sign "Road closed to wheeled vehicles Dec 1 - April 1" for winter recreation.
