FS 2341 Upper

Trail Overview

The upper section of Forest Road 2341 is distinctly different from the lower portion and quickly becomes narrower, rougher, and more overgrown. Brush crowds the road in places, making it better suited for dirt bikes or vehicles that don't mind a few pinstripes. Expect needing to clear blowdown and rockfall in some sections. Conditions can vary depending on maintenance and weather, with potential for ruts, puddles, and debris. Along the way, spur roads branch off into opportunities for dispersed camping tucked into the trees, as well as access points for short hikes to creeks and waterfalls.

This road will vary considerably depending on the season. Expect to clear blowdown and rockfall in early spring. Use caution for very narrow shelf roads. Pinstripes are inevitable on full-width vehicles.
