Trail Overview
This is a dirt-based forest road that leads to the Huckleberry Jeep Trailhead. The trail starts off wide with an incline, then becomes very narrow and steep. You will be climbing on the edge of a clear-cut section of trees and driving over tree debris. The trail shrinks down and becomes more of a Power sport trail than a Jeep Trail. The further you go, the rougher the terrain gets with limb/log crossings and loose boulders, some a foot or taller. You will also encounter ruts and wash up to a foot deep. Expect to collect some scratches on your vehicle if you travel this trail. Cell phone service was poor, so a satellite communications device is recommended, as well as an offline map, because the trail becomes hard to follow and seems non-existent at some points due to overgrown vegetation. You are approximately an hour away from the nearest services and supplies, which are found in Kettle Falls, Washington. High clearance 4x4 is necessary for this trail.
