Trail Overview

This is a dirt-based forest road that has active logging activity. The road is muddy and slick in some areas, especially after rain, and has minimal wash and ruts. The trail gradually climbs over 1,000 feet in elevation and offers views of the surrounding peaks. There are a few switchbacks, and the road has some ledges near the top. The last quarter mile of the trail becomes extremely narrow and overgrown, where you may take damage from branches to tents and awnings. There are 2 large flat dispersed camping areas with pre-existing fire rings near the top, with the last one having a large supply of stacked and split firewood. Cell phone service was weak, and there are no amenities or services along the trail, but any vehicle type should be able to traverse this trail.
