Trail Overview

This trail is a 1-mile easy OHV route that runs north to south through the center of the ORV park. It travels through a mix of grassy meadows and pine forest, with a wide and open layout that narrows slightly in places but remains suitable for ATVs. The trail is dry and dusty with light rutting along the sides or center, and includes occasional patches of loose rock and embedded surfaces. There was currently a large downed log that would be a good obstacle for ATVs until cleared. The trail ends at the ORV area boundary on the south end.

Access Description

Liberty Lake ORV Park offers about 16 miles of trails on 350 acres open to dirt bikes and ATVs, with a web of mostly unmarked trails forming a maze of interconnected routes. While a few sections are marked with difficulty ratings, most intersections are unsigned, so navigation can be confusing. A 1,000-pound weight limit applies to all ATVs. The staging area is a dirt parking lot on S Idaho Road, with space for trailers and a pit toilet. Riders should be aware that the area is subject to seasonal closures during peak fire danger--check Spokane County recreation alerts before visiting.
