Trail Overview
Waterfall Trail descends from the intersection with Drop Zone on a narrow, loamy singletrack with embedded rock and a troughed surface. The trail drops into a rocky creek and weaves in and out of the streambed alongside dramatic rock walls and lush vegetation. Riders crisscross slickrock layers and loose river rock, sometimes riding directly in the flowing creek. The banks are narrow, with steep, slick entries and exits that can be challenging. Rock ledges a couple of feet high and wet rock add to the difficulty. This highly scenic trail passes a picturesque waterfall and swimming hole near the western end--making for a visually rewarding but technically demanding ride. Best suited for experienced riders.
