MV29 is an intermediate trail featuring a notably steep descent around the midpoint, with embedded rocks, muddy ruts, and small drop-offs. Much of the trail is shelfy along the hillsides, with tight switchbacks and loose rock, requiring careful navigation. Big puddles and sloppy mud are common throughout. A bridge crosses Russell Creek at the bottom before the trail climbs back up to MV1.
