Trail Overview

This trail offers scenic views of the mountains as you travel along the ridge. There are several dispersed campsites large enough to fit multiple vehicles with existing fire rings and great views. The trail is relatively smooth and can be driven in fair weather by most vehicles. The connection to Vepco Road offers an option to enjoy multiple trails along this mountain range. Cell phone service is spotty along the trail.

4x4 not needed. Basic fire road with sections of gravel and packed dirt. Dense forest area with nice elevation changes.

Access Description

This trail runs along FR-423 located in the George Washington National Forest and can be accessed from Turner Run Road or from Vepco Road.
