Trail Overview
This is a short, adventurous route with some rocks, a shelf road, and a tricky little hill. The rocks aren't too bad, but the road is quite narrow. About 1.8 miles into Wardsworth from Left Fork Hobble Creek (FS 70147), the shelf road climbs a small but steep hill that turns left at the top. If your vehicle has a larger hood, you may not be able to see the turn in the road over the hood. Having someone give you directions from outside the vehicle might be helpful. There are also a few places where fallen trees and branches protrude into the trail. Watch for shallow ruts.
