The Great Western Trail North

Trail Overview

You can travel through pine forests and verdant meadows on this eight-mile spur path off the Tropic Reservoir Road. From the route, reddish rock formations are also visible. Although there are a few ruts and mud holes to avoid after rains and in the early spring, the road is generally easy to drive.
