Trail Overview
The road runs from the town of Meadow out to Meadow Hot Springs. It starts out as a maintained, graded, gravel road that is passable in any vehicle. Where the loop starts, there is a parking area for visitors who wish to walk out to the hot springs. There are also trails that go out to the hot springs, but from here, at least high clearance and potentially 4x4 is recommended. The road to the western pool is bumpy but relatively easy, and this continues to the southernmost pool. Going out to the eastern pool, 4x4 is definitely recommended, and potentially a friend to help recover you if your vehicle becomes stuck in the mud. The western pool is the coldest, the eastern pool is the hottest, and the southern pool is somewhere in between. Temperatures range from 80 to 100 degrees. Dispersed camping is allowed, but there are no facilities here. These hot springs are on private property that is open to the public. Please be respectful and leave no trace. There are several trash cans provided; otherwise, please pack out your trash. Donations are accepted near the first parking lot.
